Welcome!

I am so grateful you are here!

From mid-August to late May, you can find me in a classroom teaching Psychology to high school students. In the summer, you will find me outside. And in all seasons, during quiet moments, you will find me in front of my easel.

Nature is my greatest inspiration for everything I do. From the art I create, to the photos I take, I believe nature has the ability to inspire, heal and transform. It fills me with gratitude and joy, and I want to share that feeling with everyone.

What does it mean to be a sustainable painter?

When you think of sustainability, what do you think of? Maybe reducing plastic by switching to reusable water bottles or bringing your own grocery bags. Maybe you think of fast fashion and changing the way you buy clothes, through thrifting or second-hand shops, or perhaps you think of sustainability with gardening, composting and finding other ways to reduce waste. But have you ever thought about how art can be more eco-friendly?

If you seek sustainably-made products when you shop, shouldn’t the art you hang on your walls include eco-friendly materials too? These paintings are comprised of hand-mixed oil paints, just like Renaissance artists. Just pure, non-toxic archival pigment and oil. There are no added fillers, additives, preservatives, stabilizers, or heavy metals. And no plastic like in traditional acrylic paint.

What’s in the artwork on your walls?
